Songwriting Project at the National Library of Wales

Commissioned by the National Library of Wales (NLW) as part of the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage Project, myself and a handful of other musicians have been chosen to write music for some of the newly digitised oral history collections. Here is my piece entitled 'Give us Our Song, and Give us This Day' which was inspired by the David Lloyd George speech at the National Eisteddfod in 1916 during World War 1. A description of the songwriting process is given at the beginning too.
