The Bottle & Barrel in Aberystwyth has had a great opening few months. Supplying the town with quality craft beer from breweries across Wales has been a nice addition, with a choice now bigger than ever, people seem very happy with these new hoppy options.
Further to this, the bar has now started a monthly acoustic music folk night. It's a great environment for this type of gig which is set in a lights dimmed low and cram in your seat for some careful listening time. I thoroughly enjoyed the gig by providing an evening of Appalachian music including old Fiddle tunes, Banjo frailing, and mountain songs, and was also joined by some friends Tim Beard, Rose Landread, and Kurt Mills too!
The next night will be a local, Ceredigion story-telling evening hosted by Peter Stevenson and Ailsa Mair Hughes on the 4th of September. Not to be missed!
